Nonprofit Information Center

We are excited to welcome local nonprofits to participate in the Ludington Area Festival of Lights! This is a fantastic opportunity to support our community while being a part of this magical holiday event. Participation is limited to 5 nonprofits, with one nonprofits featured per week during the five weeks the drive-thru is open.

As part of this community effort, 50% of the total gate admission revenue from all five weeks will be evenly split among the participating nonprofits. The remaining 50% will be reinvested into next year’s Festival of Lights to make the event even brighter and better.

Nonprofit Requirements:

  • Each nonprofit must have at least 4 volunteers on site at all times during their designated week.
  • Volunteers must be present for all four days of operation on their assigned week (Thursday – Sunday), including any special nights like Opening Night or Sensory Night if applicable.
  • Duties will include:
    • Managing gate admissions and collecting payments.
    • Traffic control within the fairgrounds to ensure smooth entry and exit.
    • Assisting with keeping traffic flow steady toward the exit-only route.

Additional Perks:

  • Each volunteer will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive Ludington Area Festival of Lights hooded sweatshirt for just $10.
  • Every nonprofit will be featured live on the 102.7 WMOM and Hot Country Hits 99.9 morning shows earlier in the week they are scheduled to work at the lights show.
  • We will print a banner displaying your nonprofit’s logo and contact information, which will be placed at the start of the drive-thru at no charge.
  • Each participating nonprofit will also receive 5 vehicle passes to the event, which they can use for special guests, giveaways, or awards.

Please Note: A separate team will handle any light adjustments or technical aspects of the display, so nonprofit volunteers can focus on their duties.
